First and foremost, it’s important to us at Christmas Lights Vancouver for our clients to know that the quality of our service is 100% guaranteed. If light bulbs in your Christmas light strands were to burn out or if strands of lights were to be knocked down due to inclement weather, all you have to do is give Christmas Lights Vancouver a call! We will pay an immediate, complementary service call to your place of residence or business to make the necessary repairs or replacements to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your Christmas light display.

As mentioned on our home page, Christmas Lights Vancouver will either sell Christmas light strands to you, or we will be happy to use your existing lights to create a memorable light display. The price you will pay for lights and installation is dependent upon the time of season you have the installation performed. The early season lasts from October 1^st to October 31^st, and the primetime season runs from November 1^st to December 24^th. Prices will also vary according to the type of lights that are being hung at your home or place of business.

Early Season (October 1^st-October 31^st)

In the early season, it should be noted that there is a minimum $150.00 installation charge.

For traditional LED lights, the prices for installation are as follows:

• First Story of a Home or Business – $.80 a foot. Icicle lights will cost $1.50 per foot.
• Second Story of a Home of Business – $1.00 a foot. Icicle lights will cost $1.50 a foot.
• Third Story of a Home of Business (or for window peaks) – $1.25 a foot. Icicle lights will cost $2.00 per foot.
• If you choose LED double wrap strand lights, then the cost of installation will be approximately $1.60 per foot.
• If your Christmas light display requires the clipping of every light on C6 lights (standard 70 lights in a 24 foot strand), then the cost of installation will be increased by approximately $7.50 per strand depending on length.

For trees, hedges and shrubs the prices for light installation will be:

• For a tree that is under 20 feet in height, the cost will be $.40 per foot.
• For a tree that measures over 20 feet in height, the cost will be $.80 per foot.

Prime Time Season (November 1^st – December 24^th)

There is a minimum installation charge of $200.00 for light displays that are installed during the primetime season.

For traditional LED lights, the cost of installation is as follows:

• First Story of a Home or Business – $1.00 per foot. Icicle lights will cost $1.50 per foot.
• Second Story of a Home or Business - $1.25 per foot. Icicle lights will cost $2.00 per foot.
• Third Story of a Home or Business  (or for window peaks) – $2.00 per foot.
• The cost of installation for LED double wrap lights and for the clipping of every light on C6 lights is the same as in the early season. $1.60 per foot.
• If your Christmas light display requires the clipping of every light on C6 lights (standard 70 lights in a 24 foot strand), then the cost of installation will be increased by approximately $7.50 per strand depending on length.

Additional Services We Provide

• Strand Repair – The cost of strand repair for your own personal Christmas lights will depend solely upon the amount of repair work that must be performed. In some instances, it will be necessary for the entire strand of lights to be replaced.
• Fix Ups - The cost of bringing your existing Christmas light strands up to professional installation standards will begin with the minimum cost of installation and increase according to the amount of work and product the job requires.
• Light Take Down - The cost of taking down your light display will be a minimum of 40% of the installation cost, and the costs may be higher if Christmas Lights Vancouver did not perform the installation themselves. There is a minimum take down charge of $75.00.
• Light Take Downs Non CLV Installs – For takedowns that were not installed by Christmas Lights Vancouver there is a fee of $.40 per foot first story, $.50 per foot second story and $.60 for third story and peaks.

Miscellaneous Service Costs

• For all Christmas light displays that require a Boom Truck for installation, there will be an additional charge of $5.00 per strand of lights during both the early season and the primetime season.
• If your place of residence or business requires a “special” type of installation (i.e. solar, brick, or metal), then the cost will vary, but you will be provided with a free estimation of the cost.
• Finally, if the clips you possess are not of sufficient quality, then Christmas Lights Vancouver will provide you with the highest quality of clips and invoice them accordingly.
